Welcome to our page dedicated to the memory of our one and only beloved Peter Dunn, professionally and also more fondly known as Don Peters

Don, born 25th June 1928 passed away peacefully on the evening of 23rd January 2023

He leaves behind his loving wife Patricia, his 3 children; Isabelle, Timothy and Madeleine and his granddaughter Daisy

No words can really come close to describe the immense love we have for him and how hugely he will be missed

Don's life was like an adventure novel, a real page turner!

One well lived and packed to the brim with joy, laughter and all manner of interests and passions

He loved music and theatre, boats and cars, wildlife and the sea.

Don also loved just simply whiling away the hours in the sun, listening to the radio in the garden with a nice chilled glass of wine.

Join us in a celebration of Don Peters' life

We would like to invite you to Don's funeral service at St Clements C of E Church on Thursday 23rd February 2023 at 2pm.

As you know Don was always a stylish dresser - therefore please dress sharp!

Don loved his garden encouraging flowers and plants in abundance.

Floral tributes are welcome and we would like to recommend the wonderful florist La Collina Gardens based in Norman Rd, St Leonards

An opportunity to raise a glass and 'slainte' in Don's memory will follow after the service, we welcome you all to a reception taking place at The Dragon Bar, a short walk from St Clement's Church on George Street.

Don, along with Tisha, was dedicated to nurturing a safe haven for birds to flourish, their garden in Hastings remains a sanctuary to them. If you wish to make any donations in his memory they can be dedicated to The RSPB. Alternatively, please support St Michael’s Hospice, they were an incredible support to Don and our family in his final days at home. Their work is vital to families going through similar experiences to ours and their dedication and kindness cannot be overstated
